Indomie Account Moves to Lanre Adisa's Noah's Ark

The destination of the Indomie Noodle advertising account which recently became a subject of speculation in industry circles has finally berthed at Noah's Ark, the rebranded agency run by Lanre Adisa, former creative director at Insight Grey and TBWA. The account move is not the result of a pitch.

In what has become like a trend, the account, according to some industry observers, has had a history of sojourn in three Nigerian ad agencies where creative guru Lanre Adisa held sway on the creative front. Adisa, resigned fron Insight Grey as Associate Creative Director in 2005 to join TBWA Concept as Executive Creative Director. He left TBWA in late 2008 to build Noah's Ark from the remnants of Alicia Virgin, a small creative shop.

Indomie, Nigerias leading noodle brand was first managed by Insight Grey at introduction and moved to TBWA after over a decade. The account was excised from TBWA some weeks ago fuelling speculation that De United Foods Industries was considering setting up an in-house ad agency like telecoms giant, Globacom.
