Noah’s Ark

Headed by the charismatic and dynamic Lanre Adisa. Noah’s Ark is one of the most creative new generation agencies that are today giving the big, old and established ones a run for their creative capital. Lanre Adisa left Insight Communications as associate creative director in 2005 to join TBWA Concept as executive creative director. He later left TBWA in 2008 to build Noah’s Ark from the remnants of Alicia Virgins, a small creative shop. Noah’s Ark has cruised over the years to the top through its perfervid resolve to become one of the most recognized change bringers in the advertising industry. 

In an interview with Brand Communicator, Mr. Adisa noted that Noah’s Ark  is motivated by its deep desire to ensure that clients get good value for the brands they have entrusted unto the agency. He added that Noah’s Ark also views itself as competing with other agencies outside the country, adding that, their quest to register their presence globally in one form or the other is another driving force for the agency. Though Noah’s Ark has done remarkably well globally, it is not resting on its oars but intend to do more, to win more medals locally and internationally.

Mr. Lanre Adisa reveals that "Noah’s Ark" inhabits creative animals of different species and fields working hand in hand through discipline and commitment, employing conventional and non-conventional means of proffering solutions, as well as the news media, in the best interest of brands in their care by achieving great results.

In his words, Mr. Adisa said Noah’s Ark is a metaphor for a new generation of fresh thinkers in marketing communications, "we believe in the supremacy of the ideas; we go wherever the ideas take us. We believe that greater creativity is the one that saves brands from the storm of sameness”.

The agency's boss highlighted that due to its commitment to excellent advertising production, it has received recognitions, accolades and awards both in Nigeria and outside the shores of the country. Recently, Noah’s Ark proved its worth as it emerged fourth on the medals table in the Lagos Advertising & Ideas Festival which held in Lagos to the surprise of several old generation advertising agencies and winning in four different categories. He added that the creative agency has consistently registered itself on the medals table over the past four years. He noted that the agency won two awards at its first ever outing in 2009.

Mr. Adisa also pointed out that through the agency’s use of digital media and through the operation of competent hands on board in adding value to brands, the agency was listed in the top ten videos in Nigeria, amongst other videos by superstars on YouTube. He explained that one of its laudable digital works was created for a client, posted online and got an amazing two million hits within one week.

Amongst others is an achievement that made the agency a trail blazer in Nigeria and West Africa advertising industry, as it placed Nigeria on the world’s advertising map, when one of its works was published in Leizer’s Archive, popularly referred to as the world’s advertising “bible”. This achievement put Noah's Ark in the league of global advertising agencies.

He attributed all of these achievements and more to the hard work, dedication, extraordinary creativity of “creative animals” in the ark.

Noah’s Ark came into the Nigerian advertisement scene in 2008 after taking over Alicia Virgins (an AAAN associate agency established in 1996) and with the competence and creativity of “creative animals” in the ark, working rigorously to produce world class adverts which have won awards locally and internationally, Noah's Ark is a force to reckon with in the Nigerian advertisement world.
